It is entirely up to you what you want in your biography. You may prefer to only include some photo and writing, other people will prefer the audio or video options. You can leave in and leave out whatever you want. A basic list may include: thoughts, photos, notes, love letters, postcard of the mind.
We do use a long list of questions to stimulate your best memories, and the list will be available to you from our first consultation.
It is actually much the opposite of expensive. It will cost more than a cheap subscription whereby you write your own answers to a computer questionnaire, but it will cost less than a new kitchen.
Our prices are entirely based on how long it takes to interview you (and others if you wish), to transcribe and edit our conversations and your stories, and the overall edit to make sure your entire story flows beautifully.

No you don't have to answer any questions you are not comfortable with. Rest assured that we are very experienced with people and we will not ask you questions you are not comfortable with.

Your biography can be anything and any style you want. if you prefer, it can be entirely your monologue about your life. Otherwise you might prefer vignettes to sample the things you find more important. It can be solely just by your words and thoughts, and it can be entirely by the words and thoughts of others speaking about you and your life. It can also be anything in between
Your story is your biography, so it is entirely up to you if it is purely factual, or borrows from the "what should have been" version.
As researcher and journalist, we can certainly verify anything you like, if you should want that. But it is important to remember that the biography is meant to give readers memories, joy, love, and inspiration, as well as a memoir of you than can not be forgotten.
How long or short it takes to create your biography together is entirely up to you. We will provide proposed timelines and guide you when you request it.
We will on occasion be unavailable for short periods while working on other projects, however we will continue working with you as you please, as per agreed timelines.
Throughout the entire process of interviewing, writing, editing, and layout, we check with you to make sure everything is exactly as you like it as we go along, right up to completion to your satisfaction.
To our first meeting our staff will bring with them a confidentiality agreement, signed by us and given to you to ensure whatever you say and any information you provide will be strictly confidential and only to be shared at your discretion.
